Event: Friday April 18th 2014 at 12 Noon EDT
This session culminates in some in-depth discussion of WebRTC details by several well-respected experts in the space. Watch it!
Meetecho is a young startup and an academic spinoff of the University of Napoli Federico II, born of the research efforts of a few researchers and Ph.D students. They will be discussing their latest WebRTC-related effort, an open source, general purpose and modular WebRTC gateway called Janus. While still in its early stages it has already started to attract interest, and they are working to make it the foundation of their WebRTC portfolio of products.
Their current WebRTC conferencing services are based on open source components they have contributed to. The framework they developed is currently being used for providing remote participation services on a regular basis at each IETF meeting (that is, where the RTCWEB magic happens!).
