VUC520 – A global WebRTC-to-SIP delivery network

Event: Friday December 19th 2014 at 12 Noon EST

voxbonelogoVoxbone is the global market leader in high quality inbound SIP trunks, also known as DID numbers. Its customers include Telefónica, NTT, Orange Business Services, 8×8 Inc., LiveOps, and Skype. A key factor contributing to the high quality of service that Voxbone provides is its global private data network. This network is used for the international transport of VoIP calls from local PSTN networks to the service platforms of telcos, OTTs and enterprise contact centers. In May, Voxbone announced the ability to use its VoIP backbone for WebRTC calling, introducing a “global WebRTC-to-SIP delivery network” to the industry.

In this session, Dries Plasman, vice president of marketing and product management at Voxbone, will give attendees an introduction as to what exactly a “WebRTC-to-SIP delivery network” entails, including the value it adds for enterprises and communications providers. Attendees will also get an inside look at two compelling use cases resulting from Voxbone’s beta program of this service.
